You’re in the process of having your windows replaced. You’ve prepared, researched, studied, and tried to learn everything you could about the entire process: what company, type of windows, and date you’ve chosen for the project. When it comes to the actual time for the installation, is there anything you need to prepare? Do you know what to expect when the time comes?

It’s finally come time for your windows to be replaced in your home. Maybe you’ve noticed they won’t stay up when you try and open them, they are looking a little worn, or maybe you are just ready for an upgrade and a change. While looking for a company to choose to replace your windows, you can be overwhelmed with options, reviews, and services that you don’t even know where to begin. Your home is your safe space, and it’s a big deal to trust a stranger to come in and tell you what you need and how much you are going to pay.

After a long work week full of business meetings, emails, and decision-making, you finally sit down to relax with a bowl of popcorn, ready to binge your new favorite TV show on a Friday night. The couch sits perpendicular to a window on your right which you love for the natural light it brings in. Suddenly, you feel a slight breeze on your forearm resting on the couch arm. It feels like a fan on the lowest setting, its only purpose to keep the air from getting too still. Is the dog panting on me? Is someone pranking me with a hidden fan and camera? But no. You realize that the draft is coming from the side of the window next to your couch.

You bought your home several years ago and feel like you want to make a change to make it feel brand new. It was lived in prior to you, so the wear and tear of the previous owners are still noticeable to you everyday. Maybe you spend a lot of time working on cars or walk through the garage everyday to get into your car and the cracks on the concrete bother you.

It’s a cool spring evening near dusk, the sun is about to say goodnight, and you’re enjoying the night with friends and family in the backyard with a game of cornhole and tossing the old pigskin around. Suddenly, a football flies through your bedroom window, glass shatters to the floor, and the first thing that pops into your mind is, “What is this going to cost me?”
